March 7, 2025- Trent Green is stepping down as CEO of Amazon One Medical on April 4 after less than two years at the helm of the primary care provider, according to CNBC. Green will transition to a role as chief executive of the National Research Corporation, a healthcare analytics firm, on June 1, according to the company.
Under Green, One Medical expanded into new geographic markets and opened more offices. It also integrated further into Amazon, with the company adding medical services to its Prime membership program. Amazon confirmed Green’s departure in a statement, according to CNBC. Before he was CEO, Green was chief operating officer of One Medical, according to his LinkedIn. Green was appointed to replace Amir Dan Rubin as CEO of the primary care provider in August 2023, after Rubin served more than six years as chief executive. Green joined the provider as COO just as Amazon finalized plans to acquire One Medical for $3.9 billion.
