St. Joseph’s Health (Syracuse, NY) is closing its urgent care centers in Liverpool, NY, and Fayetteville, NY. The centers treat non-emergency issues like earaches and sprains. The Fayetteville urgent care center closed in May during the peak of the pandemic in New York. That center informed employees this week that it would not reopen. The Liverpool urgent care center will close this summer. Meredith Price, St. Joseph’s chief financial officer, said the urgent care centers have been losing money for years.
