January 29, 2025- United Iroquois Shared Services (UISS), a leading regional group purchasing organization serving over 900 healthcare and non-healthcare facilities, announced a new agreement with Premier, Inc. to provide UISS members access to Premier’s Supply Disruption Manager solution.
Premier’s Supply Disruption Manager leverages advanced machine learning technology to help healthcare organizations proactively manage supply chain challenges and product shortages. This innovative solution helps significantly reduce the time required to address supply stock issues, manage costs, and prevent canceled procedures – critical factors in maintaining efficient healthcare operations.
This latest addition to UISS’s comprehensive suite of cost-saving initiatives strengthens the organization’s ability to help members navigate supply chain challenges effectively. The agreement, effective January 1, 2025, expands upon the existing strategic partnership between UISS and Premier, further enhancing the value proposition for UISS members.
