February 4, 2025- Every year on February 4, the oncology community commemorates World Cancer Day, an initiative designed to unite the world in the fight against the global cancer epidemic. During the annual observance cancer stakeholders around the world come together to raise awareness and redouble their efforts on reducing the global impact of cancer, according to Cardinal Health. This year’s World Cancer Day focus is “United by Unique—Championing People-Centered Cancer Care.”
While patient-centered care is widely discussed, it’s a broad term that can mean different things to different people, according to Cardinal Health.
