February 26, 2025- In celebration of National Athletic Training Month in March, Henry Schein Medical, the U.S. medical business of Henry Schein, Inc. is now accepting nominations for its Henry Schein Medical Athletics and Schools 2025 Rising Star Award. Created in 2021, the annual Award honors emerging athletic trainers who have one to five years of experience in the sports medicine profession. It recognizes recently graduated athletic trainers in the United States who have not yet reached a senior or chief-level position but have a strong career trajectory with the potential of forward advancement and appointment at the highest levels of the profession.
Nominated by their peers, three finalists will be selected by a panel composed of athletic trainers and industry experts in the field. Together, the committee members bring experience from an athletic training perspective of broadly diverse size, type, and geographic distribution.

Once finalists are chosen, voting for the 2025 Rising Star Award winner will be open to the public on Henry Schein’s Facebook and Instagram pages from March 19, 2025, through March 25, 2025. The 2025 Rising Star Award winner, who will be notified on March 27, 2025, will receive a MARC PRO handheld muscle stimulator and a Medi Kit™ MULE roller bag filled with athletic training supplies.
