Midmark announces top medical division representatives for 2016
Midmark Corporation sales representatives and managers from its medical division recently gathered in San Antonio, Texas, for an annual meeting to recognize the team’s achievements, share industry trends and discuss new solutions for customer needs. The following awards were presented to Midmark’s top medical division representatives for 2016:

- Brian Vierra – Award of Excellence, Medical Regional Manager of the Year
- John Bergeron – Medical Core Representative of the Year
- Dennis Pavlina – Medical Diagnostic Representative of the Year
- Andy Moes – Medical Project Manager of the Year
- Mark Fisher – Strategic Account Executive of the Year
- Aaron Maggard – Blue Vase Award
- Mike Luke – Medical Rookie of the Year
PWH announces John Sasen Scholarship recipient
PWH (Alexandria, VA) announced the recipient of the John Sasen Scholarship is Carmen Hamlin, sales training specialist for McKesson Medical Surgical. Carmen has been a member of PWH for 4 years and was a contributing writer for the company’s newsletter. She is currently the instructional designer and developer for the McKesson sales training team. Carmen advocates for leadership and opportunity for women in the healthcare industry and is an ideal recipient for the John Sasen Scholarship. Several women were considered for this award, which honors someone in the healthcare industry who is an inspiring individual, demonstrates leadership, and is an ambassador to the industry. The scholarship is awarded to one woman each year and includes a one-year PWH membership as well as attendance to the HIDA (Alexandria, VA) Executive Conference.
Owens & Minor welcomes new EVP of global manufacturer services
Owens & Minor (Richmond, VA) announced that Stuart R. Morris-Hipkins will join the company as EVP, global manufacturer services, effective March 13, 2017. In this new role, Morris-Hipkins will be responsible for the company’s domestic and international manufacturer services business, strategic supply management, and global sourcing. Morris-Hipkins joins Owens & Minor from Smith and Nephew PLC, and Smiths Group PLC, where he held a number of executive leadership positions over 17 years.
