Job of a lifetime
To the editor:
I am a regular reader of Repertoire and enjoy the variety of articles and educational resources it provides. To that end, I read with great interest the profile on Dennis Taber (“Dennis Taber: Bearing Gifts,” April 2017 Repertoire). I have never met Dennis, but his story resonated with me, regarding his continuing desire – even at an age when many people can’t wait to retire to continue to do a job in a field he truly loves.
I believe there are many people in our business over age 65 and still actively employed by medical device/pharma companies, who each day are out with customers because they love this business.
My thought was an article on folks like Dennis to share with the younger generation on how, if you want to work for it, you can work in this dynamic industry as long as you’d like. Age is not a barrier!
