It’s a new era here at Repertoire:
We are excited this month to launch our newest edition to the Repertoire family “Repertoire Post-Acute.” If you are signed up as a Long Term Care, Extended Care, Home Health, Rehab, or Nursing Home rep, starting this issue you will be receiving the Post-Acute version every other month. If you are listed as a primary care, alternate site, surgery center, acute care, or lab rep you will continue to receive the regular version of Repertoire. At the end of this publisher letter you will see instruction on how to change your version should we have you listed incorrectly.
So why Repertoire Post-Acute?
- Based on the number of requests we have received by you our readers, more coverage on this market was a must.
- Given changes from the ACA and our aging population, we believe the Post-Acute market will grow faster than any other market in healthcare over the next 10-plus years.
- Our Post-Acute advertisers have asked us to cover more topics around their products and services.
As we launch this magazine and cover these new topics, we will still provide the non-Post-Acute markets with timely content around the markets you serve. As you can see from this month’s cover story in Repertoire, consolidation in our industry is still prevalent by the formation of Concordance Healthcare.
Repertoire hosted a webinar back in December on the merger of these three large independent distributors to form Concordance Healthcare. From that webinar, Mark Thill interviewed the groups and produced this month’s cover story. Since that time an additional merger has taken place among two more large independent distributors – Midland Hospital Supply and Shared Services out of Omaha. It appears we could have a trend emerging as consolidation continues to be a force in healthcare. We will continue to monitor and keep you aware of future consolidation news.
This month’s cover story in Repertoire Post-Acute focuses on defining the market. What is the Post-Acute market from a Repertoire writer’s perspective, as well as several industry leaders’ perspective? Post-Acute Editor Laura Thill starts off the new magazine with a cover story to do just that, define the space.
If you received the Post-Acute version this month and you do not want this version or you received the regular version of Repertoire and you want to get the Post-Acute version please e-mail Laura Gantert at lgantert@mdsi.org. She will place you back on the correct magazine mailing list.
If there are topics you would like to see us cover in Repertoire or Repertoire Post-Acute please email me at sadams@mdsi.org.
Thank you for your support!
Dedicated to distribution,
