We recently hosted a dinner to induct Repertoire co-founder Brian Taylor into the Medical Distribution Hall of Fame. It was an amazing night capped off by a donation made to the charity of Brian’s choice. He picked the Wounded Warrior Project. Thanks to the following sponsors – Henry Schein, IMCO, McKesson, NDC, PWH, Sempermed, and Welch Allyn – we were able to give over $10,000 to the charity.
In honor of our great country, and the men and women that defend it every day, we decided to dedicate the July issue to America – the sacrifices that have been made for us, the freedoms we enjoy and the pride of local workforces. In this issue’s cover story, Repertoire Editor Mark Thill interviewed several different companies, people, and charities. While this is not our typical issue, we hope you enjoy a small look at America inside out industry.
We also added a new supplement highlighting American companies. Our goal is to make it an annual part of the July issue. This supplement is sponsored by several manufacturers and is designed to pull out of the magazine so that you may share it with your customers.
Regardless of our religion, race, politics, or college sports team affiliation we can all be thankful that we live in America. It is my belief that after the last 15 years of war, unemployment, and a massive recession our best days are ahead of us, because we are in an industry that creates opportunities everywhere to improve the lives of our families, our customers, and their patients.
We hope you have a wonderful July full of BBQs, vacations, and time to reflect on the blessing of our great country.
Dedicated to Distribution,
R Scott Adams
