Henry Ford Health System resumes normal surgeries and procedures
About 1,000 procedures were postponed by Henry Ford Health System (Detroit, MI) at the pandemic’s onset as the only surgeries performed were life-threatening or critical procedures. Study finds hydroxychloroquine significantly reduces death rate in COVID-19 patients
Henry Ford Health System published a peer-reviewed study on July 1 investigating the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in COVID-19 patients using a large-scale retrospective analysis from March 10 to May 2 that looked over 2,500 hospitalized patients from Henry Ford’s six hospitals.
