Henry Schein Medical recognizes Cardinal Health reps and managers at national sales meeting
Henry Schein, Inc. kicked off its 17th annual Medical National Sales Meeting this spring with a welcome ceremony for the Cardinal Health team that became part of Henry Schein Medical last fall. The meeting – whose theme was “The Power of Us” – brought together more than 900 Henry Schein sales consultants, managers and others; as well as 450 members of the company’s supplier partners.
The event, held in Orlando, Fla., included presentations by Henry Schein executives, breakout sessions, educational seminars and a supplier exhibit. It also provided the opportunity for Henry Schein Medical reps to share best practices, discuss challenges and opportunities, and meet with supplier partner representatives.
“This year’s theme of the ‘Power of Us’ could not have been more relevant, as it reflects the power of Henry Schein and Cardinal Health coming together to make a difference in the marketplace,” said Dave McKinley, president, Henry Schein Medical. “Throughout the meeting, we took the opportunity to celebrate the joining of our two companies, our strong foothold in the medical industry, and our eagerness to build upon our shared goal of delivering solutions customers can rely on. The meeting was also an occasion to celebrate our decades of reinvention, our record of delivering on commitments, our game-changing alliance with Cardinal, and this exciting moment in time for the medical field.”
Henry Schein and its supplier partners helped donate products and supplies to Community Health Centers, Inc. In addition, Henry Schein once again raised funds for Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate social responsibility program, which will support the 2015 “Healthy Lifestyles, Healthy Communities” program, which promotes access to healthcare and provides free medical and dental services for underserved children and their caregivers in cities across the United States.
