Henry Schein, Inc.’s recent annual medical national sales meeting in Orlando, Fla., brought together more than 700 employees and 145 supplier partners. The theme of this year’s meeting was “Unleash the Power.”
The event included presentations by Henry Schein executives, breakout sessions, educational seminars and a supplier exhibit. The meeting also provided the opportunity for Henry Schein’s medical sales representatives to share best practices, discuss challenges and opportunities and meet directly with supplier partner representatives.
“This year’s Medical National Sales Meeting was an opportunity to recognize the achievements of our team, as well as reinforce the message that our customers can rely on us to unleash where our customers are going,” said Dave McKinley, president, Henry Schein Medical. “As the fastest-growing physician and related alternate-site distribution provider, we are confident in our position as a reliable, integrated solutions network of trusted advisors for suppliers, customers and alliances and are well placed to benefit from trends being driven by the Affordable Care Act in the U.S. and other changing business models in healthcare delivery.”
Together with support from its partners, Henry Schein donated products and supplies to Community Health Centers of Florida. In addition, the company raised money for Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate social responsibility program, which will support the 2014 Healthy Lifestyles, Healthy Communities program.
In addition, Team Schein Members and their supplier partners were recognized during a special awards ceremony, where the following awards were presented: Supplier of the Year Awards, Top Performers and Recognition Awards, Team Schein Spirit Awards, Category Awards, Rookie of the Year Awards and Managers of the Year Awards.
