July 1, 2026- BD announced that Matthew Sassone has been appointed worldwide president of BD Pharmacy Automation, a global business within the company’s Medication Management Solutions business unit, effective immediately. In this role, Matt will be responsible for driving the global strategy, performance and growth of the Pharmacy Automation business, as part of the Connected Care segment, with a focus on advancing innovation, expanding market presence and delivering solutions that address evolving needs across healthcare settings including retail and health system pharmacies. He will be based out of Pharmacy Automation’s headquarters in Durham, N.C. and report to Bilal Muhsin, executive vice president and president of BD Connected Care.
