Benjamin Stanley is a lead installer at CME, where he coordinates the delivery and installation of medical equipment for their customers. For 17 years, Stanley has worked with CME to ensure that the equipment is installed correctly and efficiently, ensuring that his customers have everything that they need to provide better care outcomes for their patients.
Driven by work ethic
Most people who work in healthcare, whether they’re on the frontline with patients or behind the scenes in supply chain, have had firsthand experience with navigating challenges. It’s almost a rite of passage in this industry.
Stanley is driven by a strong work ethic, a deep sense of purpose, and an unshakeable responsibility to new and long-standing customers. He said, “Consistency and a job well done is rewarding, even on the most challenging days.”
Part of that work ethic is what has made him such a successful member of the team at CME. Over the years that he’s worked as an installer, he attributes his punctuality, respect for others, attention to detail, flexibility, good decision-making, and his ability to be a team player to his success in the industry.
The impact of helping others
One of the most valuable aspects of working in healthcare is the opportunity to get a different perspective of all the components that have to line up to provide excellent care for the patients that need it. “Being a part of helping people through their healthcare issues and building relationships with long-standing custoemrs are some of the things that make me most proud to work at CME.”
Stanley had the rare opportunity to see the fruits of his labor impacting members of his family. He helped to set up a new infusion area for chemotherapy in Boston, which his brother-in-law later visited for a chemo treatment.
He said, “While I was sitting with him for a visit, I looked around and realized the suite had been set up by CME. It made me feel proud that I had a hand in helping out people in need of healthcare.”
More recently, Stanley has had the privilege of working with his sons, Ben and Nick, who work as DTS installers at CME. Stanley said, “Working with my sons is an incredible privilege for me. The opportunity to spend time with them and work together to improve patient care is one that I will never take for granted.”
