February 20, 2026 – Medline is debuting its enhanced Ankle Fracture and Foot Reconstruction Plating Systems at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Scientific Conference in Las Vegas next week.
The comprehensive Ankle Fracture Plating System expands to 10 unique plate families with more than 50 unique options to address a wide range of ankle fracture patterns and approaches.
New offerings from the Ankle Fracture Plating System include universal Lateral Flex Fibula plates, as well as Flex Fibula Hook and Flex Medial Malleolus Hook plates, each supported with targeting guides and inserters for efficient reduction and fixation. The Foot Recon system adds expanded plate options for MTP fusions, Lapidus procedures and TMT joint fusions, along with a new joint fenestration drill pin, small joint curettes, two autograft harvester sizes and compression pins.
Facilities often rely on multiple trays, peel packed instruments and single use kits from various vendors. The expanded implant and instrument options in Medline’s simplified tray designs aim to reduce these expenses and minimize operational complexity. The national rollout also supports facilities and healthcare systems with vendor or implant rationalization and standardization initiatives. With broader optionality to meet diverse surgeon needs, hospitals and ASCs can increase use and alignment across their full surgeon base.
