February 21, 2025 – Avandra, a clinical imaging data company, received $17.75 million in an unlabeled funding round. The startup seeks to facilitate the sharing of medical images for research and other purposes. It allows researchers and AI developers to access anonymized imaging data and says it offers the world’s largest federated network for medical imaging to help innovators develop medical breakthroughs.
Seattle VC firm SpringRock Ventures co-led financing alongside Aegis Ventures, a venture studio creating health tech companies in collaboration with leading health systems. Memorial Hermann Health System and Northwell Health helped fund the round.
Avandra is based in Cleveland.
