RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ) outlined their plans for a potential 30-year partnership in July 2017 designed to strengthen New Jersey’s medical education system, expand its biomedical research capacity and create a network of world-class healthcare practices. It was originally targeted for July 1, 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic pushed back the schedule and it will be finalized in the coming weeks.
