November 19, 2025- More than 2,700 skilled nursing providers made U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 list of Best Nursing Homes, having analyzed data about staffing, quality of care and health and safety inspections at almost 15,000 nursing homes, short-term rehabilitation and long-term care facilities. U.S. News Best Nursing Homes provide on average 20% more total staffing per resident per day compared to the national average, and top-performing skilled nursing facilities offer on average 80% more physical therapy per resident per day than the national average, according to U.S. News and World Report.
