Sponsored – ZOLL
ZOLL’s focus on workforce development, resilience and continuous improvement positions it for long-term success.
ZOLL Medical Corporation, based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, develops and markets medical devices and software solutions to help providers advance their care efforts and improve patient outcomes. Repertoire Magazine spoke with a spokesperson for ZOLL to discuss how they are navigating manufacturing challenges in the United States.
Commitment to resilience through training
Navigating market changes and manufacturing challenges requires resilience, which starts with having the right people on the ground. ZOLL said, “Resilience starts with our people and our commitment to continuous improvement. We are always looking for ways to strengthen our manufacturing operations, enhance supply chain visibility, and increase our use of data-driven decision making to respond to changing market conditions.”
Because ZOLL knows what it takes to be resilient in the face of significant manufacturing challenges, they have expanded their training initiatives to allow early-career professionals to contribute to real-world challenges from day one.
“By investing in emerging talent today, we are helping to build a strong pipeline of skilled professionals who will drive innovation, strengthen our manufacturing operations, and continue advancing technologies that improve and save lives.”
Giving back and looking to the future
Part of ZOLL’s mission to provide better solutions that save lives is built into their culture through training programs and internal learning opportunities. “We have an internal program called Mission in Motion, which is a company-sponsored learning opportunity for eligible ZOLL employees. It empowers employees with training and lifesaving tools, with the goal of enabling them to respond to and assist with medical emergencies that happen in their home or local community.”
Earlier this year, ZOLL expanded its Anything Can Happen, Anyone Can Help initiative to help educate the public about automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and offer tools that communities can use to help increase access to AEDs. The most recent expansion is aimed at strengthening cardiac emergency readiness where young athletes play.
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, ZOLL is committed to continuing to invest in people, manufacturing excellence, and product innovation. They believe that the next chapters of manufacturing will be defined by advanced technologies, skilled workforces, data-driven operations, and a continued commitment to innovation.
For companies that are looking to make a difference, ZOLL said, “Organizations create lasting impact when they invest in their workforce, build strong community relationships, and operate with integrity. Companies that focus on creating meaningful value for customers and continue to develop their employees are often the ones that achieve the most sustainable long-term success.”
