Now, on to the question
What is the top grossing animated movie of all time?
Previous Winner
Repertoire’s $128 Question for each month is available on our Facebook page, Twitter, and Blog.RepertoireMag.com. In February we asked:
“In winning the Super Bowl, the Seahawks gave Seattle a championship in a major sport (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL). What is the current name of the team/franchise who won the last championship for the city?”
The Answer: The Thunder (formerly the Seattle Super Sonics, now in Oklahoma City).
Congratulations to Nick Ciucci, Owens & Minor
Interesting note: the original phrasing of the question was that the Seahawks were one of two championship winners in the city, along with the Sonics. However, a couple of astute readers brought up that the city actually had an earlier winner. “The Seattle Metropolitans won the NHL Stanley Cup in 1917 (the first American team to win this coveted trophy),” Ciucci wrote. “So, if you define ‘major sports’ as NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL, Seattle has hosted three championship teams.”
